If you haven’t heard about the stunning architecture in Reus, you’re in for a treat. In the centre of Reus is Plaza de Prim, which is the site of Teatre Fortuny, a baroque-style theatre built in 1882. From Plaza de Prim, you can head down Calle de Monterols to Plaza del Mercadal, which houses the City Hall, Gaudi Centre and Casa Navàs, one of the many examples of Modernist architecture in the city.   • Gaudi Centre
    Whether you’re a huge fan of Gaudi or you’ve never heard of him, make sure you check out the Gaudi Centre to learn all about the city’s most famous son. The exhibition takes you on a journey through his life, his creative method and how nature inspired his work. With an audiovisual show and interactive displays, there is so much to discover. The centre also includes a restaurant, gift shop and excellent views over Reus.
  • Prioral Sant Pere
    Built in the mid-16th century, Prioral Sant Pere is a Catholic church in the heart of Reus. It is one of the most visited monuments in the city with a façade in the Renaissance style and a Gothic belfry. Make sure you don’t just admire this church from the outside – the architecture and décor inside is awe-inspiring.
  • Bofarull Palace
    For even more stunning architecture, visit one of Reus’ hidden gems, Bofarull Palace. The ballroom in the palace dates back to 1788 and is adorned with paintings by Pere Pau Montanya on the ceiling.
  • Casa Navàs
    Built between 1901 and 1908 by architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner and decorator Gaspar Homar, Casa Navàs is the only Art Nouveau in Europe that has preserved its original interior. With 200 square metres of stained glass windows, embroidered tapestry, marbled floors and ceramic mosaic walls, this elaborately designed building is a must-see.
