Phil Redmond Officially Opens Peel Leisure’s Hampton by Hilton Hotel

Liverpool TV Producer and culture representative Phil Redmond today (22nd October 2009) officially opened Peel Leisure’s Hampton by Hilton Hotel at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

Phil Redmond, famous for his soap operas Brookside and Hollyoaks, officially opened the hotel with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony.

Phil Redmond said, "I am delighted to have been asked to perform the opening as not only is it a reminder of Peel’s continuing confidence and investment in the airport and Liverpool itself, but because it is also a symbol of how Liverpool grew and can grow again. The new Hampton by Hilton Hotel at the airport is the first Hilton branded hotel in the city; the second will be the new Hilton Hotel at Liverpool One, scheduled to open later this year.
