UK Airspace restrictions – Liverpool John Lennon Airport update – 1030hrs

Following the lifting of UK airspace restrictions at 10:00pm last night, flights are now starting to operate again through the Liverpool John Lennon Airport for the first time in 6 days.

A number of easyJet departures and arrivals have already taken place this morning and the Airport is awaiting further information from airlines as to what other services will be operating over the coming days. However, passengers due to travel should only come to the Airport once the departure of their flight has been confirmed by their airline. Passengers are strongly advised to contact their airline for the latest information regarding particular flights.

The Airport advises that those passengers whose flights are subsequently confirmed, arrive 2–3 hours before their departure, in order to allow plenty of time to pass through the airport due to the large numbers of passengers who may be travelling.
