easyJet, the UK’s largest airline has launched another new winter route from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, with twice-weekly flights from Liverpool to Grenoble now on sale, with fares starting from £24.99 one-way (including taxes).
Earlier this year the low-fares airline announced that it was to begin operating twice-weekly flights to Lyon from Liverpool and the addition of a new destination has further enhanced easyJet’s provision of ski routes from the North West. The first flight to Lyon is scheduled to fly on Saturday 18th December followed by Grenoble on Saturday 8th January 2011.
easyJet has also confirmed today that due to growing passenger demand it will provide an additional rotation each week day on its domestic route from Liverpool to Belfast with fares starting from £23.99 one-way (including taxes).
Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Commercial Manager commented, “Our new winter routes from Liverpool offer access to popular ski destinations to provide passengers from the North West with even greater choice. easyJet now offers a total of 29 routes from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. The secret to our success is offering the lowest fares at the right time to the most convenient airports.”
Robin Tudor, Head of PR for Peel Airports added, “As the region’s travellers turn their attention towards Winter leisure flights, its great to see easyJet growing their range of Ski destinations from Liverpool. Grenoble is often referred to as the ‘Capital of the Alps’ and is a great destination for those setting off in search of winter sports and compliments easyJet’s comprehensive range of winter sun and ski flights from here.”
