Today sees Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) and Ryanair launch RYANATION, a new iPhone app that offers members of the public a chance to win free flights to select destinations served by Ryanair every week.

RYANATION will run consecutively over three-months, with one lucky winner claiming a pair of free flight tickets each week. Entrants simply have to select their favourite character from a selection of the countries served by Ryanair from LJLA, and then record a video message stating why they deserve to win.

Once approved, each video will be uploaded to LJLA’s Facebook page, where friends, family and others can vote for their favourite. The video with the most votes each week will win. LJLA and Ryanair are encouraging creativity, so sing, shout, rap, rhyme, holler or beatbox your way to win.

Alison Macdonald, Head of Marketing at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, commented: "RYANATION gives passengers, and the wider community, a chance to win flights to one of Ryanair’s selected destinations.

“It’s easy and fun to use and we’re delighted to be involved. It’s a great way to highlight some of the many fantastic destinations served by Ryanair from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Passengers in the North West continue to have even more choice with 39 destinations currently on sale from Liverpool with Ryanair.”

Ryanair’s Maria Macken said: "Ryanair is delighted to support Liverpool Airport’s new Ryanation app which is a fun way of highlighting some of the 39 fantastic destinations that Ryanair will fly to this summer.”

The RYANATION app, created by Parker Sandford, is easily downloadable onto iPhones with links provided on the Liverpool John Lennon Airport website at liverpoolairport.com/ryanation.
