The LJLA Blogger Challenge- Connecting Liverpool to the World!

This September, we teamed up with flybe and Travelex to whisk four bloggers across to Amsterdam to take part in a series of exciting challenges in the city. But why? What was so special about this quick flight over to the Netherlands? Everything!

The bloggers boarded the flybe Bombadier Dash 8 at 6.40am on Monday 7th September and in doing so, made history. The connection we’ve made with Amsterdam Airport Schiphol gives passengers the opportunity to make use of a global connection airport, direct from Liverpool. In essence, it is a new flybe route which connects Liverpool John Lennon Airport to the world.

We pride ourselves as being the faster, easier and closer airport available to our passengers and the new route to Amsterdam opens up a worldwide list of available destinations, from the Far East to Sydney in Australia.

The flight to Amsterdam is a short one too – it’s quicker to get to Amsterdam on a plane than Birmingham in a car. Not bad for central Europe! Indeed, Amsterdam is a beautiful city too, certainly more than a simple connection. If you are flying far and wide via Schiphol airport, why not factor in a stay over in Netherland’s capital?
