In October 2016, we launched the '#LJLALoves Airport Most Wanted'  in conjunction with Merseyside Police. Ten colleagues from LJLA and our service partners were nominated and people were able to pledge to vote for who they would like to see 'arrested' and 'detained'  by the Police.

Around 600 votes were received and on 19/11/16 the 'winners' were detained in the Terminal and taken for questioning...

All money raised from the nominations will be donated to Alder Hey Children's Charity as part of #LJLALoves. At Liverpool Airport, we have pledged to fundraise over a two year period for Alder Hey.

Each year, Alder Hey Children's Hospital cares for more than 270,000 children, young people and their families. As the busiest children's hospital in the UK and one of the biggest in Europe, Alder Hey provides remarkable and lifesaving treatments to children, not only in the Merseyside region but across many countries.

Liverpool Airport are committed to working with Alder Hey to improve the journeys of all those who pass through the doors of this incredible hospital.

If you would like to donate to #LJLALoves so we can revolutionise the hospital experience for young patients and their families, please click here.

Thank you to all those who voted and donated to our ‘Airport Most Wanted’ fundraiser, particularly Shaun and Teljon from Securitas for taking and Merseyside Police for their time and dedication.
