This week sees the start of Ryanair’s Summer 2017 programme from Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) with an expansion of their operations which will see 5 new destinations being served during the Summer and increases in frequency on existing services.

The airline’s expansion will bring up to an extra 15 departing flights per week and over 200,000 additional seats on sale from Liverpool compared to last year and an expected 11% growth in Ryanair passenger traffic.

The new routes to be featured from Liverpool for this Summer are to Prague, Sofia, Marrakesh, Girona and Bari. In addition there will be increased departures each week to Warsaw, Gran Canaria, Palma, Faro, Alicante and Malaga.

This will see Ryanair serve some 32 destinations from Liverpool this Summer and further continuing the growth in passenger numbers that the Airport has been experiencing for the past two years.
