Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) is gearing up once again for another busy Bank Holiday weekend as thousands of travellers from across the region jet off for Easter from Liverpool.
Around 65,000 passengers are expected to pass through the Airport between Good Friday and Easter Monday as travellers from across the North West and North Wales take advantage of the first Bank Holiday weekend of the year.
Passengers are expected to be jetting off to a mix of destinations in search of some Mediterranean Spring weather and on a growing range of City breaks.
The Airport once again predicts that the most popular sunshine routes this Easter are likely to be Barcelona, Malaga, Alicante, Faro and Palma, with City breaks to destinations such as Amsterdam, Krakow, Dublin and Belfast also expected to be popular, along with Copenhagen, the Airport’s newest destination which started earlier this month.
