Ryanair, Europe’s No.1 airline, today announced a new Liverpool to Zadar route, commencing in July 2021 and flying twice weekly to the popular Croatian resort as part of Ryanair’s UK Summer 2021 schedule.

Whilst international travel is still not permitted for most travellers until 17th May at the earliest, Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) has continued to work closely with its airline partners to plan ahead and offer the region’s passengers a great list of Summer destinations to choose from, once international travel opens up again.

This latest commitment to Liverpool is Ryanair’s third new route to be announced from the Airport over the past six months with new flights to Kosice and Kaunas previously unveiled.

Families from across the region can now book a summer getaway, flying on the lowest fares and with the option to avail of Ryanair’s zero change fee should plans change.

To celebrate, Ryanair has launched a seat sale with fares available from just £19.99 for travel until the end of October 2021, which must be booked by midnight Thursday, 1st April on the Ryanair.com website.

Paul Winfield, Liverpool John Lennon Airport’s Director of Aviation Development commented, “It’s great to see Ryanair’s commitment to Liverpool, the City Region and beyond continue with the return of their flights to Zadar, their third new route to be announced from Liverpool in recent months.

Throughout the lockdown we’ve continued to work with our airline partners to explore new route opportunities so that as soon as the region’s passengers can travel abroad, they will be able to jet off on a much needed holiday to a host of great destinations from Liverpool once again.”

Ryanair’s Commercial Director, Jason Mc Guinness added, “We are pleased to announce a new Liverpool to Zadar route, commencing in July 2021 and flying twice weekly as part of our UK Summer 2021 schedule.

Mindful that Covid restrictions change regularly, customers can now book flights for a well-deserved break knowing that if they need to postpone or change their travel dates, they can do so up to two times with a zero change fee until the end of October 2021.”
