Why should I book my car parking with Liverpool John Lennon Airport?
There are so many reasons why parking with Liverpool Airport is your best option when travelling with us. These include:
- Our Best Price Guarantee, meaning you won't find our products cheaper elsewhere
- Car parking safety - see above for the security measure we have in place
- All our car parks are situated on the grounds of the airport.
- You won't be able to find car parking closer to the terminal than the ones we sell.
Do I need to hand my keys in?
You only need to hand your keys in if you choose to park in our Meet and Greet Car Park, as we will need your keys to allow our professional team to park our car for you. Please note your vehicle will never leave the airport grounds.
In all our other car parks, we operate a ‘self-park’ policy, which means you park in whichever space you want to, and keep your own keys.
Are there any disabled facilities?

- Long Stay Car Park
- Short Stay (Multi Storey) Car Park
- Express Drop Off & Pick-Up (adjacent to the Multi Storey Car Park)
- Fast Track Car Park

Is there a maximum car size, or any height restrictions?
There is a 2.15m height restriction for the Express Drop-Off and Short Stay Multi-Storey Car Parks and no height restrictions in the Long Stay or Fast Track Car Parks. However, please note we do not allow trailers, or coaches unless they have pre-notified the airport. Any vehicles requiring more than one space must make a booking via the call centre at 0845 644 0659.
Are there facilities to recharge electric vehicles?
Yes, we have two chargers in the Long Stay Car Park for short-term usage. Car parking charges apply to non pre-booked passengers as of 1 January 2024.
How are parking charges calculated on this website?
Pre-booked parking is charged per day or part thereof. For example, if you are travelling on a Monday and returning the following Monday you will be charged for both Mondays. All prices shown are in GBP and include VAT at 20%. Car park charges will also vary according to
- The time of year
- Location in regards to the terminal
- How far in advance you make your car park booking.
Why is there no availability for the dates I am trying to book?
There are many reasons for this including:
- The car park is fully booked for all or part of your stay
- You do not meet the booking conditions for that product
- Discounted products are only available for certain dates and have a fixed allocation of spaces for these dates.
It is very unlikely you will find no availability, so if this is the case please contact our call centre for assistance on 0845 644 0659.
What happens after I have made my booking?
You will receive an on-screen confirmation detailing booking reference and instructions. Please print this page for your records as you will need this information at the airport. We will also send you a confirmation email with some helpful tips and information for getting to the airport and making the most of your time here at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
What if my flight is delayed and I go over my pre-booked parking period?
Overstay rates vary depending on which car park you are parked in. Overstay charges are payable per day, or part thereof, and are as follows:
- Long Stay Car Park is £15 per day, or part thereof
- Multi-Storey Car Park is £20 per day, or part thereof
- Fast Track and Fast Track Family Car Park is charged at £35 per day or part thereof.
I need to change my booking, what do I need to do?
You can change your booking dates via the online ‘Manage my Booking’ tool. We don’t charge an administration fee for changes. Please note, some products such as Price Buster are non-amendable – this is clearly displayed on the car park description page.
Although we do not charge an administration charge for changes, please note there may be an additional charge depending on what you wish to change your dates to. For instance, if you originally booked an 8 day stay, but now wish to extend your booking to 10 days, you will be charged for the additional two days stay. Another example would be if you wish to change a week’s parking in March to July, an additional charge may be payable due to a difference in price for parking in a busy period.
I need to cancel my booking, what do I need to do?
You can cancel your booking via the link on your confirmation email, or by either emailing parking@liverpoolairport.com or speaking with a member of our team on 0845 644 0659. What is the Red Route No Stopping Zone?
A Red Route No Stopping Zone is in operation at Liverpool John Lennon Airport. This means you cannot stop or park your vehicle at any time to ensure the safety and security of everyone visiting the airport.
Don’t worry, you’ll know if you’re in the Red Route No Stopping Zone as it is clearly marked by double red lines on the carriageways. There are also over 80 high profile signs, which advise drivers that they are entering a Restricted Zone as well as ‘No Stopping at Any Time’ signs.
Anyone who chooses to disregard the No Stopping zone and does stop on the Red Route will be subject to a penalty charge notice, as detailed on the signs.
What do I do on my return from holiday?
For the Meet and Greet Car Park, go to the key collect area to collect your car keys. For all other car parks, arrive at the exit barrier and insert your car park ticket. The barrier will then raise automatically allowing you to exit.
If the system failed to recognise your vehicle on entry, before collecting your vehicle take your ticket and a copy of your booking confirmation to the Car Park Office (ground floor of the Multi-Storey Car Park), where your ticket will be validated for exit.
Any additional stays outside the pre-booked period will be charged at the standard tariff, which can either be paid at the car park office or at the pay on foot machines located on the ground floor of the Multi-Storey Car Park. This should be paid prior to collecting your vehicle.
What is the car parks address?
