Additional Security Checks for Flights Inbound to the UK

In line with new aviation security measures introduced by the Department for Transport, the UK government has prohibited phones, laptops and tablets larger than; Length: 16.0cm, Width: 9.3cm, Depth: 1.5cm (normal smartphone devices are permitted) from cabin baggage on flights to the UK from:

Turkey

Lebanon

Egypt

Jordan

Tunisia

Saudi Arabia

Please be mindful when returning to Liverpool John Lennon Airport from any of these countries to pack any large electrical devices into hold luggage and NOT in hand luggage. If you have any further questions, please contact your airline directly.
