Traffic & Roadworks
If you’re due to fly from Liverpool John Lennon Airport (or have just arrived back!), it’s a good idea to keep an eye on the traffic, roadworks and travel news and weather forecasts for the local area before venturing out on to the roads.
Wherever possible, please plan your journey carefully in advance, taking into account scheduled roadworks. Allow extra time for your journey in case of unexpected traffic or inclement weather and plan an alternative route, just in case. We recommend arriving at the airport at least 2 hours before you're due to depart and we would advise you check the status of your flight beforehand.
